NEW YORK — It began as a U.N. humanitarian aid program called "Oil-for-Food," but it ended up with Saddam Hussein pocketing billions to become the biggest graft-generating machine ever and enriching some of America's most forceful opponents at the United Nations. Plus, some evidence suggests that some of the money ended up in the hands of potential terrorists who are opposed to the United States. The roots of the scandal date back to 1991, when a U.N.-backed and U.S.-led coalition expelled Saddam from Kuwait following his hostile takeover of the neighboring country. Bush Snr. Knew what the UN was up to (not this oil thing, the New world NGO scam) so he wouldn't sign key things, and used the veto. Clinton, being the fool he is, signed treaties, Bush Jr. won't. But you can bet your life Kerry will. That's why it's so important to Keep Kerry, and the democrats out. The UN MUST crumble. But the loons onthe left, not having a clue whats going on in the UN, want to support it. All these NGO's (non government organizations) actually control alot of the various UN offices. Scary stuff.
