Note to LA Times:
Not so fast.
That isn't the assertion at all.
Try ... It's the constant and unfailing attempt to taint the news by the "main stream media", [MSM] such as yourself, that has punched holes in your overbloated vessel.
I dare say you, and others of your ilk, have neither the intelligence, nor the bilge pumps, to keep afloat for the long journey ahead.
You have the Captains permission to leave the bridge.
The Swift Boats charges were not debunked, IMO, just clouded up a tinge on the fringes. They flatter themselves; Kerry's drop in the polls would have been temporary if that wasnt true, and it wasnt
Those libs havent seen anything yet.
This revolution has been and is being televised, despite the usual pathetic attempt at media blackout.
Freepers are educated, well-read and observant. Most of all, we CARE about what happens to our country because it will eventually affect our lives and communities, as in the case of homosexual "marriage." We've got resources from coast to coast that fan out the instant a possibly (or probably) bogus story surfaces, and we're leaving the MSM to eat dust.
Ok, I'll be the 1st to say it - Ben Wasserstein is clueless.
The "revolution" is that the MSM can no longer get away with spewing dubious 'facts' under the cover of "professional", ahem, "journalists" without consequences.
We are watching, 'WE' are Buckhead!
When you get to the point that words have no meaning, you're probably talking to a MSM journalist.
If the internet ever gets around to posting localized sports, obituaries, and help-wanted ads, the big print media will have had its day!
And Rathergate gave FR and other blogs, valuable exposure.
Ben, Ben, Ben...you are so yesterday.
I'll attribute it to short term memory loss, but don't you recall when Newsweek executives were trying to spike the Monica Lewinsky, Bill Clinton sex scandal, and it was those of us online who overwhelmed the "old media"?
The curtain of controlled news was torn then. It has now been ripped to shreds.
Ben, you are one of the dinosaurs living in the LA Times swamp, unaware that extinction is looming.
*sob*
We're still relevant.
Really.
HELLLOOOOO Hitlery...we will be BETTER trained with our computers when YOU decide to slither out in 2008...we're merely "practicing to make PERFECT" our next course of action.
As long as these people stay in denial we will win and win and win. Let them self delude all they want. The truth is that you can't even begin to solve a problem until you recognize that it exists. Dream on fellas. Dream on.
That would be MR. Buckhead to you!
Being exposed for what they are makes the MSM squirm - doesn't it???
Concord Hymn
Ralph Waldo Emerson
By the rude bridge that arched the flood.
Their flag to April's breeze unfurled,
Here once the embattled farmers stood
And fired the shot heard round the world.
The foe long since in silence slept;
Alike the conqueror silent sleeps;
And Time the ruined bridge has swept
Down the dark stream which seaward creeps.
On this green bank, by this soft stream,
We set to-day a votive stone;
That memory may their deed redeem,
When, like our sires, are sons are gone.
Spirit, that made those heros dare
To die and leave their children free,
Bid Time and Nature gently spare
The shaft we raise to them and thee.
"Rather may become the second kill for bloggers"
Typical left wing notion that exposing fraud and seeking truth is akin to a "kill"....sad people
LA times - How are those circulation number going? Did you hire a chef?
