"What CBS is really worried about is the potential destruction of the democrat party.
Exactly!!!!!
To: The Real Eddie01
Are you suggesting that the creation of fraudulent government documents will be overlooked for political expediency?
Correction - they are copies of government documents.

ABC news is reporting that the democrats had these memos before CBS. This was just a rumor last week, but ABC says it has documents to prove it. Link please?

ABC's documents aren't forged. They're real emails.
LOL.

Forging some one else's signature on fake federal documents can well get you jail time.

(Finkle (DNC) is Einhorn (CBS)... Einhorn is Finkle. ohh myyy gaaa (puke))
To: DB
I would hope so, but some FR lawyer types question this in the case of a news story. Civil liability is easier, but no one's going to sue before November.

I wonder if there's a statute of limitations- if so the CBSDNC crew will be trying to make sure no one can tell precisely when the forgeries we mae, if that would be the date to which the statute would apply...some lawyer will try it if it comes to it.

How is the best way to print it. I tried landscape, but it cuts the margin on the right side so that you only get 2/3 of the "Officially Released Killian Memos???

"Correction - they are copies of documents."
Okay seriously. Are they all forged government documents or are they supposed to be from Killian's "personal" files? I have been thinking of them as forged government docs. But if they are supposed to be personal docs that Killian made for his own records, that does not seem like a felony. But if there has been a felony there should be an investigation and prosecution by the feds.
What story was CBS given about how the documents were obtained from Killian? Anyone know?
To: piasa
Well we pretty much know it had to be after 1995 because I don't think a usable version of MS Word was available to do it before then.
If some one gets a search warrant and finds the computer with the "original" files on it. It will be dated.
And last but not least, regardless of when the documents were created, the forger didn't pass the fake documents on until very recently. And there lies the crime.

Between this and their much-heralded chart depicting the Kerry swift boat mission with Rassmann, you'd think that the Washington Post was cribbing off of this site.
