"...ya also have got to have a lot of time to simply waste, too. Because that's what you're doing, y'know."

Reckon you could be right, not a single person I pinged to my onslaught has shown the bravery to respond...LOL!! I consider it practice...fer what, I'm not sure.

We're slowly gettin' closer to Black XXXI...will it be a pre-election post or a post-election post? I'm not sure, haven't had a lotta time to FReep lately.

Yer gonna love the BigMan's guitar-playing on "All Along the Watchtower" and "House of the Rising Sun"...MUD

"Reckon you could be right..."

I *know* I'm right, my friend. ;^)

"...not a single person I pinged to my onslaught has shown the bravery to respond...LOL!!"

Don't worry, the totality of that place are undoubtably *huddling* as we speak & will get back to you with something quite pithy, I'm sure. {g}

"I consider it practice...fer what, I'm not sure."

Hmmmm, worrisome. Indecision.

"We're slowly gettin' closer to Black XXXI...will it be a pre-election post or a post-election post? I'm not sure, haven't had a lotta time to FReep lately."

We shall see.
Not only haven't I the time to participate of late, I've not had the *desire*.
This upcoming election's brought out the absolute monstrous worst in people from both sides.
It's frightening what it all implies for the future of this republic, to be honest.
No matter, onward.
Right?

"Yer gonna love the BigMan's guitar-playing on 'All Along the Watchtower' and 'House of the Rising Sun'""

I'm not sure exactly what it is I'll be getting, buddy; but, ya got me real excited so don't let me down now, y'hear?
Just know I saved those cassette tapes you'd sent me a few years ago, kinda as a hedge in the event you ever make it *really* big & get a head to match? :o)

Just got back from a forray at Amazon, where I bagged $60 worth of collectable CDs (~including "Super Saver Shipping" discount) and one of my choices was actually based on the review of the now absent "Bluesduke," who it'd appear is still around.
Some real nuggets I got, too.
One's so rare it's been outa print for *years* and as such a used copy cost $30, while an [alledgedly] unopened original just under $100.

Point is, all will make for *excellent* pickings in future EMA series, I hope.

Will ship your 5 discs in about a hour and damned well expect some kind of thoughtful review for you after you've recieved 'em and had a fair amount of time, y'hear?
Your future *membershp* on the EMA mailing list is at stake sonny, so be advised. :^)

I'll be leaving for Milwaukee early tomorrow morning to peruse real estate in & around a little backwater place in Wisconsin called "West Bend" (~named for, I'm told, *a* west(ward) bend in the Milwaukee River).

One can buy a nice place in this area with anywhere from 1 to 3 acres for under $400K, something [quite] impossible to accomplish in the greater Milwaukee-metro area, BTW.
So it's to WB we'll settle.

Will stay at my wife's digs on Lake Michigan in downtown Milwaukee on Prospect Avenue, something I'm *really* looking forward to.
This $2,700 p/mo joint's on the 23rd floor of a 27 floor highrise, which supposedly has a breathtaking view (from her balcony) of both the downtown skyline *&* the harbor.
Pray I have clear weather to shoot some nice pics, which if you're interested I'll send a few your way, OK?

The high point of the trip's dinner at a little Italian resturant my bride & I frequented lonngggg ago when we were first dating.
The place had a fabulous thin crust pizza to kill for, and since my bride's had some business dinners there already she had the chance to see they've apparently not changed the family recipe in all the years we've been gone.
What a nice thought.
Something didn't change, become cheaper, is still made with quality & pride.
Rare as hell.

In any event, won't be around much for the next few days.

...so have a good one.
