Arafat is immaterial, too old, too senile, to affect
the direction Palestine will go. He will be dead within
2 to 3 years after which there will be a peace accord
signed between Israel and the Palestinian state.
When world-wide militant Islam is defeated, and the Palestinian Authority destroyed, an agreement of some sort (excluding statehood) will be negotiated between the Arab residents of Judea, Samaria and Gaza, and Israel.
