Can I wear my Victoria Secret pajamas to the newbee function in Michigan? I am only a one day old newbee.
To: Brad's Gramma
I'm still wondering why I can't get it to show more than 50 posts at a time.

Trolls don't realize that troll hunting here is a conservative sport! They don't last past one post, even on a bad day!
That's why only the best can bag a troll.
Ya gotta be quick. Alert! Aggressive!
(And, by the way, how can you both a Lert and an Gressive at the same time? Wouldn't it tend to make you confusing as well?)

Thanks ever so much RandallFlagg. I remember him well in the Last Stand however you do you know about Mr. (Liberal) King. If anyone needs a good freeping, it's him.
To: Cats Pajamas
It's sad, but not typical.
I can't tell ya how long it's been since I read one of his books. I think the last one was The Dark Tower: The Drawing Of The Three.
I go by that handle because years ago, mu little Sister said I looked like Flagg.

"The 390 users signed up on the website eclipsed sign-up spikes caused during other newsworthy events, such as the Florida recount during the 2000 election, and the events of September 11, 2001." Amazing!

"Everyone wants to be part of the group that single-handedly is bringing down the entire CBS News operation all by itself." It is wonderful that we are getting so many new FReepers, however, this constant overload (as it says) that prevents us being able to view more than 50 posts to a page (or 20 on our ping page) is getting exasperating. I was looking for a post from just 2 or 3 days ago and I must have had to go back 25 or 30 pages to find it. Did all the squirrels die or what? I keep expecting this problem to get fixed, but it never does. What's up with that, Jim? Is it being worked on? I have really resisted the urge to post a whining vanity.

We're always working on it.

I just figured that the fact that Free Republic has as many posters as a small city is the reason for the majority of problems.
I got faith. Take your time. It's not like we can leave or anything; we have a nice, legal addiction to FR.
