I have mixed emotions..
On 9/11/01 I was still working for a large communications co. My job that day took me past Paterson,NJ a heavy arab community,and I witnessed dancing in the streets around 10:00 am. I was still shocked from what I saw on our monitors that morning. The look in other people's eyes. The feeling of hopelessness. I wanted to do something...but had know idea, a fellow coworker said I looked like a caged cat (the pacing). Yes,dancing in the streets....later that evening a bunch of us went to a local hospital blood drive,(it help with that what can I do feeling) and we donated.
A lot of the doctors in that hospital happen to be arab, or of middle eastern decent, and they worked very hard long into the evening. But the one thing that is, and will always be,forever in my mind....is the dancing in the streets. These were,the day before,your neighbors,your gas station attendant,your insurance salesman....
Of course that story broke a day or two later (the street thing), and of course the arab community talk about fears of retribution, and local politicians calmed the masses. Eventually the stories came out that the dancing really never happened...(to calm the masses you see). I saw it,I won't ever forget it,and no matter what...I'm telling you now...they danced in the streets

I hope you wrote letters to local papers and called in to radio stations with descriptions of what you saw.

Even today, any article or radio/TV program that deals with islam or immigration would be an opportuinty for you to reply, sharing how you witnessed, first-hand, how our government imports a mortal enemy, islam, into our beloved country.
