As per scanner alert

All of the volunteer fire departments are manned in building.
Matamoras is in evacuation, Port Jervis is in Voluntary evacuation.
The Delaware was already elevated recently.
If they open the Rio dam upriver form Port Jervis, it raises the water level by an appreciable amount.
I live 11 miles from Port Jervis, used to live there.
My mother in law is in Matamoras.

We live in the center of Pike County, PA - across the Delaware River from you. My husband is a Township Supervisor here. Many of our local roads are under water. My husband says he has never seen the Shohola Creek this high - - including back in 55. One house has collapsed as has a part of route 739. The rain has finally stopped here.
