Move over Lara Croft. Say hello to Lt. John Kerry, action video game hero.
Later this month the presidential candidate's service in Vietnam -- the subject of ongoing controversy -- receives the full video game treatment with "John Kerry and the men of Swift Boat PCF-94."
Available for download from kumawar.com as a free seven-day trial, the game will put players in the combat boots of a 25-year-old Lt. Kerry on Feb. 28, 1969, the date he earned his Silver Star citation.
Players will have the opportunity to view and participate in the action from Kerry's perspective, up to and including the point where Kerry beached his swift boat on the banks of the Mekong and chased down the enemy on foot.

So how do you win? Be the first one to shoot an injured teenager running away? Or maybe you play on-line and the winner is the one who turns off the game early and then sells out the other players. This game is a slap in the face to every man who fought in vietnam and was Dishonored by Kerry. How dare they try to market him as a hero. I am so offended I am Nauseous.

Help John Kerry actually earn his medals this time.

Naw, the action figure will flee when fired on or shoot innocent civies (and then beg for a medal of honor) :)

Probably a point system for shooting dogs and cows, who of course are also armed.
Sick.

On the one hand, I'm glad that "brown water Navy" units are getting a favorable treatment, on the other, I wish that it wasn't so John Kerry-centered. I entered on active duty in '78, in the Navy, and I knew plenty of guys who served in the various brown water craft types (Swift, PBRs, skimmers etc.).
A shame their stories don't get heard or told to the extent that Kerry's has.

I'm looking forward to the part of the game where you have to crawl through a tunnel wearing a bunny suit with Terayzah on your ass for making her eat at Wendy's.

Will they offer bonus stages? Medal toss? Throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Sox game?

More persuasive than the photo evidence that the union thug was actually that little girl's father's son.

Is she a U.S. citizen? Knowing her, she probably hold dual citizenship from Zimbabwe and the U.S.
