Float New "Theory"

Dean's former campaign Manager just mentioned a "theory" he heard that the documents were actually made in 1972, but were later scanned, changing the font.
Can you believe how desperate the liberals are? Did it also change the terminology from Air Force to Army? Did it also change the signature? Did it also change the retirement date for General Staudt?
They will never concede the documents are forgeries. This will live on in liberal mythology forever. Like the October Surprise.

Dean's former campaign Manager just mentioned a "theory" he heard that the documents were actually made in 1972, but were later scanned, changing the font. And I just heard a "theory" that the Earth is flat.

Is he talking about some OCR scan of the documents? Here's my question . . . WHY? Again it's the same thing with these morons. They think that because soemone COULD do a thing that that means that possibility can't be closed off. It doesn't matter how ridiculous or how easily it can be demonstrated just how remote or implausible these things are they'll cling to it. It's PATHETIC, is it not?

Dean's former campaign Manager just mentioned a "theory" he heard that the documents were actually made in 1972, but were later scanned, changing the font. And my wife, Morgan Fairchild, did the actual scanning. Yeah...that's the ticket.

I think what they are saying to us is they scanned the documents in 1992, using OCR technology, and then, years later, reformated the digital material back into a readable document.
So, let's review this ~ in 1969/70 I worked with an Israeli engineer who was working out the characteristics of the most common fonts to see what could be cranked into one of the OCR technologies invented by Rabinow.
By 1973 you could get an OCR from IBM (built by Control Data Corporation based on one of 5 Rabinow patented designs), that could "read" fairly well, but all the error-edits were garbage because computer processors were so slow. I recall very well a data collection document I designed as an OCR form that year.
No doubt Democrats in those days had better stuff than the United States Postal Service, eh?!

"Exactly how does "scanning" a document "change its font"? Also mysterious is how the signature (which is supposedly authentic according to CBS's "handwriting expert", right?) somehow survived this spooky "scanning" process" Relax...it's just Al Gore testing his focussed gravity beam time transporter.
Just happened to point it at the photocopier.
Problem is...it only works with one date 4th May 1971.

Sounds very plausible to me. But how did the flying pigs deliver the original document to the time machine and why?

Holy crap, now the LA Times is going to expose me too.

Was this what Joe Trippi said? I was so amazed that he was saying "Freerepublic" and named Buckhead and TankerKC (pinging--you were named by Joe Trippi on Hardball tonight!) and said they had "raised legitimate questions" and that he said it in measured tones that I didn't hear anything about changing fonts.
It doesn't make sense due to the mirror imaging, plus the content at this point has been totally debunked.
Still, what Trippi was up to with the "I'm a reasonable man" approach was interesting.

Rush (I think it was he) said yesterday that President Bush did 6 months worth of flying in 5.5 months. Rush then corrected himself, it was that Bush got 6 years worth of flying in 5.5 years.

So is he thinking that someone scanned the documents, and then changed the font? That's just nuts.
