The guy from the Kinko's in Abilene, Texas, said to call him Coz.
"Just Coz," he said on the phone, "You sound like a reporter. Are you a reporter?"
You got me there, Coz.
"Well, I'm not allowed to disclose the information about that situation," Coz said. He didn't have to say the Kinko's situation is the controversial Dan Rather situation.
"Any information regarding anything, about the situation, if you're a reporter, we can't talk to you," Coz said.
Coz also couldn't tell me how many media calls he received. What's the frequency, Coz?
"Too many to count on one hand," Coz said. "I just don't have time to explain the situation."
The situation involves possibly forged military documents that Dan Rather put on CBS and that were faxed to the network from a Texas source who used the Abilene Kinko's. They were the basis for the network's "60 Minutes" story about President Bush receiving preferential treatment while in the National Guard, stateside, during the Vietnam war.

'Where's the Kinko's, Kenneth?'
Courage, Coz.
Is this a story about a reporter not getting a story?
It asked for a logn and password.
But it sounds like Kinko's, Dan Rather, and whoever can be traced down legally to the fax is in some pretty big trouble..
Why not fly down there and do some real reporting??
Seems like Coz could make money than he makes at Kinko's by selling his story to the National Enquirer. "Bill Burkett told me he was going to get even with George W. Bush".
"So are "WE", us Freepers (Bloggers) now considered "reporters" also??"
Well, the MSM doesn't consider Freepers reporters, so if Coz asked I think you'd have to say "no", in which case he'd probably tell you anything you wanted to know. ;)

And don't miss the "Veteran's for Kerry" visit to Abilene on October 1st! Can't wait to see who shows for that one.
