Gotta agree with you there Andy. I really wanted to trade Nomar, Pedro, and Manny to Toronto for Halladay, Delgado, and anyone (thing) else we could get at the beginning of the season.

Happy with the Nomar trade from day one. He popped up in so many critical situations over the last two years, it made me sick. If you're a Celtic fan, it was the same with Antoine, happy to see him go (though he did help get us to the conference finals).

Would've been very wrong about Manny and wrong about Pedro too. Good thing I'm not GM!

Definitely a good thing Theo & Co. stuck with Manny - they took a chance on the waiver wire, and the guy has played his heart out ever since. Pedro is just too much of a gamer to ever let go - he starts slow but builds in velocity and endurance over the season. I'd resign him in a heartbeat. Same with Manny - he's about 30 degrees out of phase with the average human, but he's got about the best hitter's eyes in the game.
