If you truly understood fascism, you'd know that the left making threats to deem anything they disagree with 'hate speech' is fascism.
But hey, that'd be admitting that the left is fascist.

Yeah, noted that the thread hadn't been posted to since September, and then 'alakapoof' bobblehead shows up to rant.

Really strange.

Mods snuck up on him, stuned him, and then dragged him off to their secret lab.
They appreciated the new specimen I hear tell.
*chuckle*

The Bush regime is looking more and more like a facist Party in my opinion. Nationalism, military dominance, disregard of human rights, controlled media, protection of corporations, cronyism corruption, religion and ruling elite tied together.

Bobblehead, you're right about everything.

"Nationalism" IS destructive: it threatens community control and regional culturalism. State and local governments have handed over too much control to the Federal Government. It's time to take back local control. Let's stop this ridiculous quest for "civil rights" which is nothing more than "we want to be just like the guy next door". People obsessed with "America" need to let go of their "Sugar Daddy Syndrome" and their belief that the Federal Government can solve all of their problems.

"Military Dominance" would be unthinkable. Our three branches of government--executive, legislative and judicial--are in perfect balance and come from a brilliant master plan: the Constitution. If the military became a legitimate, dominating branch of our government, why, it would be just like the Jim Crow days again. We can't have one group using military force to control another group.

"Disregard of human rights" is something we Americans need to take much more seriously. Freeing the oppressed groups in Iraq and Afghanistan in the course of four years is rather pathetic, don't you think? We need to free all oppressed peoples everywhere: Congo, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, China, Iran, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and so on. We should not stop until every region has an effective republican governmental structure.

As for the "controlled media", we have got to enforce monopoly rules so that areas served by only one publication are forced to make concessions that allow competition into the market. Not only that, government run schools need to have policies in place that force teachers to present kids with publications that represent a variety of viewpoints. (A ban on Knight Ridder, Newsweek, Time, and the LATimes would be a good place to start.) There should also be bans in government run schools on publications, like the NY Times, that plagiarise and abuse the corrections section repeatedly. When all these controls are in place, then and only then, will the media stop purposely producing propaganda instead of news.

"Protection of corporations" is a serious problem. Too many local governments are putting incentive packages in place that favor one corporation over another; stockholder accountability is virtually nil; many CEO's abuse their positions and pay themselves salaries not commensurate with their abilities; and governments are interfering in the day to day operations of businesses with ridiculous OSHA, EPA and "civil rights" requirements.

"Cronyism corruption" is nothing to laugh at either. Nepotism is an effective tool for creating company loyalty and dependability, anything that interferes with tight-knit groups of people who share goals, visions and consequences should be frowned upon.

Are "religion and ruling elite tied together?" Absolutely. Those in power who try to force citizens to share their beliefs have no business being members of the "ruling elite". For instance, homosexuals who want to force the entire population to join in on their adulation and worship of sexual perversions and public petting, do not belong in positions where they can legislate changes that put their Aphroditism above other religions. The first amendment must be protected at all costs.

(Scratching head) I guess I just don't get the "Fascist" part, though.
