Don't they usually make them remove their socks?

At least she's not running around naked.

Teresa Heinz Kerry joked about being a loose cannon when she campaigned for her husband today at a Pittsburgh library. This...creature...is not fit to be First Lady of this great nation any more than her pompous jackwit husband is fit to be Commander-in-Chief.
The only remotely nice thing I can say about Tah-RAY-zah is that she makes Shrillary seem almost human.

But the A-B-C poll also showed that Heinz Kerry's husband is viewed more favorably than Bush on the "kitchen table" election issues
Brought about by Teresa's recipe for cooked goose.

This broad views this campaign as some kind of lark.

But the A-B-C poll also showed that Heinz Kerry's husband is viewed more favorably than Bush on the "kitchen table" election issues Which "kitchen table" issues are those? In my home, the "kitchen table" issues are lower taxes, winning the war on terrorism, and keeping our Second Amendment rights. Last I saw, Mister Flippity-Floppy was on the wrong side of each and every issue of import.
Gotta tell ya, health care is not a foremost issue in our home...and I've just spent the past three months combatting cancer. That oughta say a lot.

Prayers for you.

being a loose cannon That's interesting, that's exactly why Zumwalt said he wanted young lt. Skerry out of Vietnam.

It does say a lot, PC. I'm sorry to hear this and I hope you beat it. Prayers for you. Thanks very much for your prayers. I do appreciate it.
I'm happy to say that the worst of it appears to be behind me. I had surgery on June 10th and had my spleen, gall bladder and 2/3rds of my pancreas removed. Two weeks later I had complications (developed pneumonia, my pancreas and kidneys shut down, lost a lot of blood), and things were pretty bleak. But, thanks to the Good Lord's help and a lot of people's prayers, I managed to rebound and am now back to work and running at about 90% of my pre-surgery strength.
Right now the doctors are trying to determine if the cancer has spread to any other part of my neuroendocrine system (pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, adrenals, and so on). In the meantime, every day is a gift and every hour I have with my family is a blessing.
So, all told, I feel like a pretty lucky guy. God willing, I will be among the 4% who survive this cancer.

Maybe it is a lark to her.
Perhaps, being raised in Africa, she doesn't understand that here the people cast real ballots that are really counted when they vote. (Purposely disregarding graveyard votes, multiple votes, 'found' ballot boxes, nursing home votes, 'lost' absentee ballots, and other Dem tricks.)
BTW, where did Senator Heinz keep her all the times he was campaigning?

This is one thing that Socialist do not understand. When catastrophic medical situations arise. a persons 1st priority is family, friends, and the love and support they provide. It always broke my heart to care for terminally ill Patients, and some in their last moments had no one with them, except me and other staff.
Good health, good life, and you are in my prayers.
