I actually had a friend who lived with a man and a woman in a threesome relationship. I truly don't care what people do with their personal lives, but there were children involved and she lost my friendship over it. But just so you'll know, what usually happens in these sort of relationships is that one partner ultimately get jealous and the two who really want to be together stay together.

I have acquaintances in polyamorous relationships. One is two men, two women but one of the women left. Another is an open relationship involving three men. The one fellow told me he wanted to get married (he lives in one of the jurisdictions where this became possible), but he couldn't decide which of his two partners he wanted to marry. He said he would wait until polyamorous marriages were legal. I suggested to him that he marry both of his partners, and become the first person to be charged with gay bigamy.

I do however want to say that even if the NGLTF or Hollywood push pedophilia, we shouldn't assume that all gay people are child molesters. I have other acquaintances who are in quiet monogamous gay relationships. I don't want to be about the business of judging others. They will stand before God and so will I. (My friends know that I am Christian and I am celibate. They don't understand, but there it is.)

It's a lot like using pot. It doesn't just affect the users, no matter what you think. It affects anyone and everyone they know.
