I've been told it works in Firefox too.
I use Firsfox. Its works great for me. Much faster than IE.
I have Firefox as well as IE6. With IE 6 I am able to get each thread on FR to open minimized. I have not found a way to do that with Firefox. Any of you Firefox experts know what I can do to change that?
using it right now it is good
But won't Clint Eastwood steal it?
I am just about ready to uninstall Mozilla completely, and run with Firefox-Thunderbird exclusively..
Now, if I can just get my brother to stop using IE and Outlook express....

Beware of opening PDF's in Firefox. It screws up your Firefox browser and stalls your computer.
Open them in IE, but use Firefox for everything else.
I started using Firefox a couple of months ago and like it a lot. It's faster than IE, with 99% the same performance. The only glitches I have are that sometimes hitting "back" will return me to the top of the previous page (so I have to scroll down again), and I've had trouble with downloads occasionally. Other than that, it's smaller, faster, and tabbed browsing just rocks.

The best thing about FF is no more spyware to clean off - at least for now. I've been using it for a couple months. Once a week I run Ad-aware and SBSD and it's great to always see a result of ZERO.: )
YEP!
firefox 0.8
no problems, no bots, spyware, popups etc.,
I'm using it now. Slight improvements over Mozilla (bookmarks), but it's still got some bugs (bookmarks).
Where can I download it? Will it run with windows 98? I have a 5 year old computer that needs to be replaced but I can't help it....I'm attached to it!
I have to put in a plug for Opera 7.5. Using for about 6 months. Browser and mail work great. The tab feature on the browser is very handy.
Mainly because certain "tags" only work with certain browsers. For instance the <blink> tag works with NS, etc, while the <marquee> tag works with IE, etc.
All the browsers can be useful depending on what you are doing (or viewing) at the time.
I tried to d/l Firefox, but it crashes when I try to import my settings from IE. I have a gazillion bookmarks, and I don't want to have to rebuild them. Any suggestions?
"I have also been using Internet Explorer since about 1996, when it came pre-loaded on a computer I bought. I found it to be adequate, and certainly seemed to be on the cutting edge (anybody remember push technology?).
Yuk the version of IE that came with windows 95 was unusable. IE 3 I believe it was. OR was it 2? It would not even download large files like Netscape. Netscape 2 was way better than IE 3 and below. Personaly I have always thought that any good feature in IE was stolen from Netscape(mozilla).
I updated to the latest FireFox and now getting errors. I think the installer does not correctly update system OLE files.
My son installed Mozella Foxfire in my computer awhile back. Lately I've had some computer problems and have done about everything I knew how to do, which helped some.
I tried using the Foxfire one day and it was fast. I'm not familiar with all the features yet, it seems to open in new pages on its own and I've not been able to see some html graphics in email??
