I've been following this Kinko-story since last night. And in my pajamas no less.
On a lighthearted side, the Abilene Kinkos reminded me of Dave Chappelle's POP COPY training video spoof on Comedy Central. For those unaware, Dave Chappelle spoofs Kinko's store training video, calling the franchise POP COPY.
"If the customer has a project formatted on PC, tell him you use only Mac. If he says its also on Mac, tell him all the computers are down."
Just imagining Barnes, Lt Col Wingnut, and the whole Dem crowd trying to get POP COPY customer service as they desperately fax memos to their contacts.
I ham having one of those ideas again:)

Actually, I don't think there is much to this at all. There just seems to be one meeting in Jan. at Kinkos and I followed a link which mentioned a meeting elsewhere later, so they probably just check for available, cheap venues. It could just be a coincidence.
