I have ZERO problems with the man's principles, values, or enthusiasm. But sending a three year old in front of union thugs with a Bush sign is not unlike sending her into a den of hungry bears with a steak strapped to her chest.
My point was that he and his kids have been attacked before, but he keeps bringing his kids into these stunts, so parading them as "sympathetic figures" before libs and the MSM will not work. He is a loyal and patriotic American, but maybe not the most rational parent in the world.
The point here is that in America, he not only has the right to be there, there should be no question as to safety. This was not a back alley, it was a political function at a public facility. Not only that, where was the secret service? Where was security? Where's the outrage on from Breck&Shrek?
It is absolutely shameful that people now have to think twice before taking the kids for a civics lesson. Perhaps Mom had a sprained ankle and couldn't go, or watch the small ones. Perhaps with 10 kids, Mom just needed a nap!
Safety should not be an issue. I don't know this dad's intent or heart, but it makes me angry that the liberals who are saying he shouldn't have been there are of the same camp that took their kids to a pro-abort march. There are pics. You know the funny thing there? They felt perfectly safe doing so...and for good reason. The true compassionate conservative right would never endanger a child.
I'm rambling, I know. But I'm angry. And I've only had 1 cup of coffee. Not a pretty combination.
