McCullough: HILLARY RACKS UP VOTERS AND DOLLARS IN TWO STATES
WMCA-NY ^ | 9.16.2004

NEW YORK - Hillary Clinton is using hurricaine conditions to raise political dollars in two states worth of voters.

According to a campaign letter sent today to supporters via e-mail Hillary wrote, "While the weather has been our biggest obstacle, the Republicans remain our greatest threat."

By this I am to conclude that she believes Republicans are worse than Hurricaines Charley, Francis, Ivan, and Jeanne put together...(and don't even think about terrorism)...

...Because the GOP is far more dangerous than the hurricaines - and don't you forget it.

But it also turns out that Hillary might be "sharing" something more than just good will with her Democratic colleagues in Florida.

The Boston Globe's Jeff Jacoby has pointed out that as many as 46,000 of Hillary's constiuents (New York residents) are registered to vote in both New York City and Florida...which is illegal.

As many as 1700 of those registered in both states did request an absentee ballot to be mailed to their home in the other state - where they were also registered.

Bush only won Florida in 2000 by 537 official votes...

I wonder how many of those registered in both states were democrats?

This has got to be the reason why it was 537 in 2000. I am convinced...

This is a major problem if new yorkers are also voting in florida. I haven't seen any news about any action taken to fix this. This makes rathergate look like small potatos.

She'll "fix" this, once she is elected.

This is almost laughable. If that witch thinks that she's going to be able to pick up a single state in the South when she runs she's been nipping at Bill's medication! She makes Kerry look like Bill Buckley and almost every Southerner knows it!

As long as the Clintons are around we all know Kerry has no shot to be the next president.

one way to solve this would a National Voter Registration with one state designated on that registration and having to show id whenyou vote. Simple and straight-forward and could easily be computerized.

Finally, there is a single bumper sticker for both political parties. The hottest selling bumper sticker comes from New York State:

"RUN HILLARY RUN"

Democrats put it on the rear bumper.

Republicans put it on the front bumper.

Kerry may be toast and I do not believe Hillary will benefit
for 2008.

She could be dog food. All of this creepy demorat stuff might smear her image.
With the Clinton finger print on Kerry's campaign the residue
could follow with Hillary. Of course I'm assuming a fiasco with Kerry losing big.
This trail of garbage would be tatooed on her campaign.
