Can't have it both ways, Pet: You've just admitted you'd support a draft - - but then you slam people who are worried that a draft might be coming. But the reason they're worried is because there are a lot of folks like who think it might be necessary and would support it!
I would support a draft. I don't deny that.
I also believe it would not be reinstituted unless absolutely necessary. The crux of your argument is that it is not necessary.
Would you support reinstitution of the draft if it were absolutely necessary?
Do you believe the Pentagon or the President would reinstitute a draft in a situation in which it were not necessary?
