Is this woman related to Ricky Knox...partner to Ben Barnes?

Texas Republicans had split in 1976 between President Gerald Ford and rival Ronald Reagan. As 1980 approached, and the elder Bush maneuvered for the GOP nomination, local Reaganites didn't want to boost his namesake son. Some "actively worked against George W.," says Bush backer Ruth Schiermeier. When he won the GOP primary, well-known conservative activist Paul Weyrich and others intervened privately for the Democrat, state Sen. Kent Hance, according to Hance campaign manager Ricky Knox. -from the Wall Street Journal, 06-11-1999
Looks like Ricky Knox was also the campaign manager for Bush's opponent in 1978

Is this woman related to Ricky Knox...partner to Ben Barnes? There's another article floating around here noting that her son was in the Guard unit.

Ricky Knox:
http://www.belogical.com/1997/06/k970620.htm
Excerpt:
"If I've got this straight, Barnes and another guy named Ricky Knox were consultants for the company that runs the State Lottery. But federal prosecutors have implicated the two men in a kickback scheme. So far, no charges have been filed, but look at what Barnes has made out of a bad situation. GTECH is going to pay him and Knox more than $23 million dollars to STOP working for them. In addition, Barnes will get about $168,000 per month -- I said per MONTH -- for three years. Kind of makes you wonder just what Barnes and Knox could have been doing for GTECH that would be worth that kind of money."
