To: Laissez-faire capitalist

This is news? I was going to raves (underground dance parties) in 1994 and meth was huge even then... it's been big since the 1980s. I remember seeing all sorts of people who had been sniffing all kinds of powders up their noses. I think I was the only drug-free person at some of those parties... well as drug free as you can be with a water bottle filled with vodka!

I'm with you, this stuff has been around for a while. It's a huge problem in some rural areas where they steal anhydrous ammonia to make the stuff. It's really a horrible, highly addictive drug.

Hell,I go back a lot further than THAT!Used to walk around Haight Street in SF in 1967 and you knew right away who the "speed freaks"were-scrawny white kids pulling on their dirty hair while swilling the telltale quart of CHOCOLATE MILK and asking for"spare change"
