On televison last night, Killian's son said she was not his personal secretary. She was everyone's typist.

Personnel records from the base should confirm that, right?

If the Republicans try to answer every little "nitpick" item/even/person that has a questionable witness, they'd be kept busy from now until the end of the world trying to debunk it.

And, that's exactly what the Dems want -- keep the Republicans bogged down in matters that no one cares about. And, off their candidate, Kerry.

In answer to your question; however, no Lt.Colonel in the Guard in Killian's position had a personal secretary. There just wasn't enough paper work generated from the position to warrant a full-time personal secretary. Just wasn't done.

They used their budget for flying hours and to pay the part-timers.
