Could you clarify something ? Burkett was in the Army Guard , not the Air Force.
Is this just a distinction without a difference - are all these guys kind of thrown all together? If not, how does someone like this get ( supposedly ) hold of AF papers???????? I can't believe CBS is passing this off as "news".....

Yes, Burkett was in the Army National Guard and Bush was in the Air National Guard. Burkett alleges he saw the records being purged when visiting the guard HQ, which is over both Air and Army. There was a thread from early today, but I don't remember what is was about. It had a link to several web stories about Burkett like, "Burkett had an axe to grind".
