Many a slip from the cup to the lip. Kerry can still win this thing.

AGREED! The media has set it up for that outcome, with the inflated "bump" by oversampling of Republicans. They want this to be a great comeback from behind victory. Do NOT get lulled into this.

I understand that these articles are probably intended somewhat to have the effect of suppressing the opposition vote (make it look like its 'Game over man!'), but on the other hand, they can make OUR side get complacent, we MUST NOT.

Kerry can still win this thing.

They are idiots, but they are dangerous idiots.

Need to fight like we're 10 points behind.

Besides, they cheat, lie, and use every underhanded trick in the book.

Check out the John F. Kerry Timeline. Email it to your friends.

Despite nearly 20 years in the Senate, no one really knows what John Kerry stands for.

And Kerry has to keep it that way, THAT is his real problem.

Kerry has no message and is in full react mode. Today at the guard meet he will talk about yesterday's intelligence report. Not good for Kerry, but yeah, good for Bush.

mirror mirror on the wall
why is my campaign in free fall???

ummm, err, uh, ahh, look into the mirror and ask another question.

Someone who stands for nothing, will fall for anything.

Kerry says, “The trail of broken promises and reversed decisions of this Administration is unlike any I have ever seen at any time that I have been in public life

The problem is he always says these things to adoring, approving audiences and never ventures far enough into flyover country to realize that this kind of preaching-to-the-converted rhetoric goes nowhere with most people. That and the average American isn't going to accept such rhetorical jabs at face value without some substantiation, which Kerry has offered none.

Add to that the cognitive disconnect from what Kerry says (the worst economy since the Great Depression) and the reality surrounding Joe Average (home ownership is up, interest rates are low, unemployment is low) and it's enough to dismiss the man as an out of touch East Coast lefty who is only running for the Presidency because he feels entitled to it.

I have no idea whose brainchild it was to have Kerry base so much of his campaign on four months’ worth of military service, but the issue seems to register lower on the Richter scale than filmmaker Michael Moore doing a set of jumping jacks.

I don't know which would be worse, watching Kerry at stump speaches or watching Michael Moore do jumping jacks. A horrifying thought.

However, I would disagree with one point... Michael Moore doing jumping jacks just might very well register significantly on the Richter scale.

One Conservative Member of Parliament publicly opined that there’s no difference between abortion and the beheading of American contractor Nick Berg in Iraq

Of course there's a difference. One was an adult who put himself in harm's way, while the other is a blameless, defenseless baby.

its been since FDR that America has elected a northeat liberal, and by today's standard's, he would be quite moderate. He had the money and the media influence to get elected in MA and win the democrat primary

I assume you meant Kennedy, not FDR. And in that case, Kennedy had something else Kerry doesn't have, charm and personality.

No, I meant FDR. Kennedy cut taxes and increased military spending. The only other 2 people to do that since then are Reagan and Dubya. People forget that Kennedy also campaigned as an anti-communist.

Not quite so. At one time, when he was pandering to northeast peaceniks and before he was trying to trick the whole nation into voting for him, he wrote down exactly what he stood for. Take a look.
