Quite the incestuous little bunch, these democrats.
Carville is in the mix too.
And, isn't "ugly" from Texas too... Begala?
So the Kerry campaign involvement is starting to become clearer. What does CBS know about this?
Why won't they reveal their source and a full accounting of what happened?
GOPcap: You get this weeks Buckhead award.
This award, lovingly known as the "Bucky" is the blogosphere's equivalent to the old media's long-tarnished peebody award.
The web gets curiouser and curiouser...next we'll be connecting the dots to Moyers and Valenti....and next week Dan will produce documents from LBJ ordering Bush to stay out of Viet Nam because he's already sent Kerry.....LMAO!!
The REAL perpetrator is someone that Rather and dnCBS would LITERALLY put their careers and the entire dnCBS news organization in jeopardy of collapsing for.
No, Bill Burkett is NOT the man... And you can bet, if it turns out they name him, he'll either take the money and run and "admit it" or he'll deny it and note they're trying to make him the fall guy. But he is NOT the source of those documents.
I should say that the Bucky is also the blogosphere's answer to not only the long-tarnished, but also to the oft- and long-discredited poolizter.
That picture sure would look good over at Drudge. Nice find.
This is the SMOKING GUN!!!
Kerry's in trouble on this. This is like the Lowell Watergate of the 1970s. Kerry is a dirty SOB.
You might also be interested to know that David Van Os was an associate in the law firm of David R. Richards.
http://www.vanosforsupremecourt.com/vanos_biography.htm
For those of you that haven't made the connection yet, David Richards is the husband of Ann Richards, the former Governor of Texas that was defeated by George W. Bush.
Do you smell a bit of vendetta here?
I've got this strange feeling that David Van Os won't put the interests of his client, Burkett, before the DNC.
One other little tidbit that you might wish to consider is that the former secretary for Lt Col Killian (Bush's TexANG commander and the purported author of the memos) has stated publicly that the terminology used in the memos is Army not Air National Guard. Refer to:
http://www.drudgereportarchives.com/data/2004/09/15/20040915_143002_bushtang.htm
Now take into consideration that Bill Burkett was an officer in the Army National Guard in New Mexico. He admitted to using the New Mexico National Guard as a means to avoid the draft and service in Vietnam. He stated clearly that he did not believe in what we were doing there.
Please save the photo for future use and find a host/server for it - the democrites will be pulling the photo soon enough.
David Van Os is a big player in Texas Democrat politics. He ran for head of the Donk party there and is a highly visible player.
He is not just any old attorney, as I had thought until yesterday.
Asked what role Mr. Burkett had in raising questions about Mr. Bushs military service, Mr. Van Os said: If, hypothetically, Bill Burkett or anyone else, any other individual, had prepared or had typed on a word processor as some of the journalists are presuming, without much evidence, if someone in the year 2004 had prepared on a word processor replicas of documents that they believed had existed in 1972 or 1973 - which Bill Burkett has absolutely not done - then, he continued, what difference would it make?
Just damn!
Qwinn
And Austin for Kerry is the site that hosted that Ben Barnes video that Jim Moore tipped off the media to. Very interesting.
If I'm not mistaken Dan Rather appeared at a Democrat funraiser a few years ago which was arranged by Burkett. Rather said at the time that he did so as a favor for his daughter who is politically connected to Burkett. Does anyone know the details?
OK I am convinced that Van Os is clearly a DNC player and his simultaneous representation of Burkett and work for the DNC is highly suspect.
I think its time to swing the searchlight of the blogosphere on to Van Os. At the elast, Texans need to knwo more about this scumbag who is campaigning to be appointed to the Texas Supreme Court.
