Strictly speaking, as far as Politics go, Connery is primarily a Scottish Nationalist.
However, he was originally recommended for Knighthood by the British Conservative Party in 1997. The 1997 Recommendation was blocked, at the time, by the British Labour Party.
Connery was eventually Knighted by the Queen at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh in July 2000.

That's because conservatives are generally well-adjusted and relatively normal people who just want to live and let live and otehrwise be left alone. Liberals, on the other hand, are in a perpetual state of frustration, the kind that comes from....how shall I say this...being always excited, but never saTisfied. They always look like their undies are in a knot and their shoes are 2 sizes too small. Their eyeballs are bugging out in a dazed, haunted stare and their lips are tight, even when they're moving. Even in the south it's pretty easy to tell the conservatives from the liberals. The conservatives are generally easy-going and friendly. Liberals look like they've been sucking lemons.
You wear jammies in your office? Wish I could get away with that.
Where was I when that happened??? Maybe it's time for a new one of those! We do have January coming up before too much longer. One must plan ahead for these things.
