All day I heard teasers, heard it on Rush too, CBS was going to make an announcment. There was a thread in breaking news about it. All sorts of bruhaha on it...

There was no 'big' story'. CBS is so screwed anyway. I gave up on it.

Thanks for that link, I was about to go in search of a "live thread" on that very topic. I agree. I think at this point, given the non-announcement by the big wig, CBS is sandbagging the newsroom and digging in to fight their stand of the documents. They've got no credibility whatsoever to stand on.

If you go to the Freeper Inauguration Ball, trust me, I'll be there in spirit! I had planned on making plans to go to the ball months ago, but I decided to do something about the problems in my legs and back that have been slowly getting worse the last couple months due to my having cerebal palsy all my life.

Well, in deference to other countries, I won't name the worst, but England was probably the closest thing to the U.S. I saw and it wasn't all that close. I remember looking for a gun store in Marseille, France. After looking to no avail someone finally told me that they aren't legal in France. That experience changed me forever and I'll never forget that. My interest in guns back then was an innocent interest in something I simply assumed was a God given right. It hit me like a ton of bricks. That started a general awakening to the fact that the U.S. is a unique experiment in human liberty.

Anyway, I was lucky in that my rating (IS) allowed me to hop around the world a lot, in and out of embassies and on and off of ships. I speak Russian fluently so I did a lot of translating for the radio men. It was an awesome experience.

Not quite sure where it's being held, but it's an Inauguration celebration by FReepers if George W. Bush is re-elected. Tamsey might have more details for you than I could give you. :)

I don't know if this will work, you have to play around with the height and width functions in the url, you know, make it fit and adjust the 300 and 400 as needed. This is my guess...
