Yes, he was a republican. You've probably seen his picture on this site wearing a t-shirt that says "kill a commie for mommy."
To: Mr. Jazzy
Dang. Is there any connection between these boys and the Clintons. Cancer. Cancer. Drugs.
To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet
Damn... Johnny "Kill a Commie For Mommy" Ramone passed away!

If being opposed to "nanny state liberalism" is conservative, then yes.

Johnny Ramone founded The Ramones in 1974 with Joey Ramone, DeeDee Ramone and Tommy Ramone, the only surviving member of the original band. RIP Johnny (and Joey and DeeDee.)
Tommy, stop smoking and get your ass to a gym.

PT Boat on the way to Havana, you can make a livin' man pickin' the banana ~ Ramones
I don't know what their political sentiments were for certain, but I do mourn, this is the same band that sung "now I wanna sniff some glue" ... always had that eagle symbol too.
If I am not mistaken, throughout the course of their career, at one point, one bandmember left and another took his place, if I am correct, I am not sure. Thought they got a baldheaded drummer.
I pray for all.
To: JellyJam
aw, man. this sucks.
I want to go put in Mr. T Experience "End of the Ramones" now.
