I am in Birmingham, Alabama and we are expecting rain in about 30 minutes with the worst (Ivan itself) in about 13-14 hours.

I work for a hospice as an Executive Assistant and our nurses and home health care workers have been working furiously over the past two days to visit every single hospice patient and take them extra medically necessary items and extra meds. Those patients who can't exist without power were automatically admitted to hospitals.

Hats off to the medical workers everywhere! And I know they will be called upon in the aftermath as well....
