They must think the affiliates are idiots, too.

But you-know-what flows downhill, and the affiliates will feel the effect of people tuning out long before the net will. Or before the net will care.

Advice for the affiliates: Grow a pair.

Through all of the frenzied debate of the past week, the basic content of the 60 MINUTES Wednesday report - that President Bush received preferential treatment to gain entrance to the Texas Air National Guard and that he may not have fulfilled all of the requirements — has not been substantially challenged.

CBS to its affiliates: Screw you.

Yeah, and the public. Same old same old, only now the public has a way to voice their opinions.

I am calling my affiliate tomorrow and letting them know how I feel about see-BS using forgeries to try and influence the election of the President. This is pathetic.

Dan is truly stuck in the past, where news anchors were the news gatekeepers.
