Maybe someone has made this point already, but I believe Bill has been overwhelmed by criticsm from his viewers and listners and felt he had to let her speak or risk losing his audience. He let her go on uninterrupted more than normal.

Actually, no. You are the first with that. His viewers and listeners are through with him. He did NOTHING to rehabilitate himself tonight, and he really lacks the humility and intelligence required to be a good host.

I think he let her go on because her presentation was compelling, she was responsive and forthcoming. He had to listen, he was being taken to the woodshed. It was an intervention. Too bad for him, he isn't capable of hearing her excellent criticism and advice.
