Tonight, he was pathetic! No Wonder CBS is in the blackhole and the siphon effect is accelerating.The documents are a fraud and he is going to defend with hearsay from an 86 yr old former secretary who previously remembered nothing.PATHETIC!
This has got to be one of the dirtiest of campaign tricks of all time.

Dear Mr. Appelgate:
Given that CBS has not promptly and publicly retracted false testimony about the President of the United States, while our country is at war, and while our soldiers are in harm's way; it is apparent falsehoods included in CBS network news programs broadcast by your station, WOIO channel 19, are not in the public interest.
It is also my belief WOIO has partnered with CBS, and perhaps others, with an intent to propagandize and defraud the public. this is a betrayal of the public trust.
Therefore, the topic of Dan Rather’s falsified military documents, and a complete record of WOIO’s positive, corrective actions; must be considered when WOIO channel 19’s license is up for renewal.
Respectfully request a prompt reply and this letter’s inclusion within the station's public file.

What would it mean to the FCC and CBS' broadcast license if that could be proven, that they went on the air with a story tonight that they admitted was false beforehand?
Not that it matters uch since Cronkite is a demo wuss, but has anyone tried to ask his opinion of this debacle.

I have the same situation, but I wrote to my station anyway, and demanded they drop the CBS news updates. Every update at the top of the hour begins with a Bush smear.
Killian's son said again tonight that the secretary was really assigned to the unit, not just to Killian. And .. he reconfirmed to Hannity that she would not have had access to his dad's thoughts. Then .. he told Hannity that he and his dad had spoken several times about Bush and he never once detected any negative attitude from his dad about Bush.
