For a brief moment, Juan was honest, saying this new line that "the documents are fake, but what they say is true" was ridiculous. I thought he was finally going to give up the Bush-lied garbage. But then he slipped right back in to denial-land, saying "but if he disobeyed an order ..." He couldn't seem to grasp that the fact the documents are forged means there's no evidence there ever was an order.

In fact, who the heck orders someone to take a physical? That's the kind of thing that might come down from command in a you-must-report-to-such-and-such-on-this-date directive, but not from your C.O. And not in a memo.

Actually - it can happen in a memo. I was in the New Jersey National Guard and received such an order in memo form to report to a physical which was related to my application into Warrant Officer School. Those were probably the exceptions, some kind of bigger event. All other yearly physical's were routinely scheduled, without each individual receiving orders to do so.
