950AM KPRC switched to CBS News for radio updates back when Dan Patrick was there. It happened when Dan got mad at ABC News over something (he dropped ABC News for CBS). Does anyone remember/know was ABC's bias/error was?
Part of the decision to go with ABC News comes when a station wants to carry Paul Harvey's daily broadcast. I think that is only available to "ABC" stations.
Dan's over on 700AM KSEV these days. He's got something called "the USA Network" for news. He recently canned Alan Colmbes nighttime syndicated show becaus of the DNC talking points that Alan was spewing every night. His decision to even put Alan on the air came when (A) Alan was more evenhanded (at least in Dan's view), and (B) we were on the verge of war and Fox News would pre-empt such programs for live news (the chief factor in Dan's decision to carry Alan's show).

This looks like a Very Good Day!
Yes, and I switched them off permanently because of their mourning the passing of the AWB. Hendee came on the other morning, threw out a bunch of falsehoods, half-truths, and mischaracterizations of the issue, then declared the discussion over with and wouldn't take any more calls on the subject.
If I want that sort of behavior, I can just listen to Dan Rather.
Yeah, but he also dumped Michael Reagan and put on that lame Lance guy with his equally lame financial show. If I gotta listen to a financial show, at least make it Bruce Williams!
