They will claim they meant no harm when they used crumpled paper and ran the transcription through a copy machine twenty times to make it look old. The elaborate ruse was neccessary to protect their source, you see.

If their source turns out to be the Kerry Campaign, we will all know why they are stonewalling this to the bitter end. They want to stay out of jail.

There is not one scintilla of doubt in my mind that the forgery came directly from the Kerry campaign and the DNC.

But the content is not accurate.

There are very many problems with the "content" such as nameing the wrong commander, wrong address, and not standard military lingo, just for starters. Even this fade doesn't jive.

I have no doubt that this is what they will say, but why did it take them a full week to come up with this explanation?
