Notice he says "accurate" not "authentic."
Big difference... they are hiding on this one.

That's it? This is so lame, it only makes this worse for them. I'm putting on my tinfoil hat now....
Maybe Karl Rove really is behind this! Tinfoil hat off.
Time to make dinner for the kids.

These people HAVE to be some of the DUMBEST on the planet! All media sources have waited since noon for this statement----and this is all they get! Amazing.

Unbelievable!
Well lets see here are my questions:
1. Who is the source for the fraudulant documents?
2. Who are the experts who vouched for the documents?
3. Has CBS instructed them not to talk to reporters?

My Release at 2:00 pm came true unbelievable
News Release:
CBS has some reservation whether the documents are real, but the facts in the documents are real. If President Bush would answer the facts of the documents this controversy would be over.

That is truly pathetic. Give the story stilts, why don't they?
It's starting to look like John F'in Kerry himself gave them the memos.

Yeah, this stinks to high heaven. There was NO reason for CBS to delay the release of this statement over and over again... and when they finally do release the statement it doesn't say that the documents are AUTHENTIC, but that they're simply accurate.
CBS, you're not fooling anyone.

(What's the provenance, Kenneth? Where did the forged SeeBS memo come from?)
To: jbarkley
I think this means that they took several days trying to duplicate the memos on a typewriter and couldn't. There should be no doubt that cBS has frantically been trying to find a typewriter that would prove their claims and if they had, they would have shown the evidence to the world by now.
I suspect that they were still trying all day today. Now they have to come up with plan "B".
