Howlin set a great example last sept 8th when he started a live thread for the 60 minutes II story.
Let's see how much squirmin we here ....
Houston, we have a PROBLEM!
YES YES YES! GO! GO! GO!
Anyone want to play with Viacom stock.. have at it
***He said he will find a way to cancel the CBS contract if they do not resolve this in a manner that retains their credibility as a news source. ***
Oh my gosh! Peach, that's revolutionary news. I sure hope it's the start of many more problems for CBS and Rather.
ROFL!!!
I have to get out and do something, my Ribs are hurting from all of this!
Been trying to find the thread where someone was going to award Rather the First Annual Golden Urinal Award for the best job of peeing on the truth the whole year!
There was a great deal of coroborating [sic] evidence from people in a position to know.
[that the memos were accurate]
Having said that, given all the questions about them, we believe we should redouble our efforts to answer those questions, so that's what we are doing.
[Do you think that they might be trying a rope-a-dope (by tying this up in investigations to further delay?]
Thanks for that link, I did go over and get thru the first 50 comments.
Don't know , they might be waiting for the Hurricane to get all the way to NY City!!!
But some folks in Congress are wanting to help them with the investigation.
This is getting real good!
Do you have the call letters or website for the radio station.. we need to THANK THEM! This is HUGE - it's like the Berlin Wall!

Much longer than what we've been commenting on.
Bailing out of this thread.
CyaBS is run by a bunch of fools!!!
***. This just screams agenda.***
It also screams HEARSAY, and wouldn't be admissable in court. Especially since the conversations the elderly secretary says she heard were over thirty years ago. MY GOD! CBS surely thinks it's above the law, doesn't it?
***(except no one is going to get me to wear a pair of jammies)***
How about hostess pajaaamas? You can serve the champagne.
The first interview of the secretary said the President was Unfit for Office and was selected not elected. Let's see if she maintains her loyalty to country working for The United States Air Force. Secretaries are special people.. They keep powerful people honest.
Does this Burkett fellow meet the criteria for the source? And is he capable of creating these forgeries?
Yes it is.
Their statement was casual and off-hand.
CBS asserts that the contents were (are?) accurate (the information is true).
Thus to them the fact that the memos are fake is irrelevant (but theyll check them Ha!). (Ms. Knox will state that the information is accurate)
This is my take: (Others may have said the same.):
The battle of the memos being fake has essentially been won by us.
CBS will still argue about their authenticity (to stall and muddy the water), but they can afford to give on that point.
The strategy is to pound that the contents are accurate, so even if the memos are fake, it is unimportant because the information is true. No harm, no foul.
Thus, there was no attempt to influence a president election.
What about Cookie-Monster slippers? Or Incredible Hulk slippers? How about Ho Chi Minh sandals? Oops, that would be for Hanoi John.
Oh, indeed.
