so MSNBC just reported
actually, word has it that the statement will be delivered by andy rooney:
"did you ever notice how people are all the time giving you a piece of paper and they say it's one thing when it's really something else? why is that? i have several pieces of paper here. they all have writing on them. some of it is in pencil. some of it is in pen. but they all weigh the same amount. here are some pages with typing on them, and here are some that came from a computer, which is a kind of typewriter that has wires coming out of it. they weigh the same, too. but here's something you might not have guessed: the ones from the typewriter and the ones written on in ink weigh the same as each other. it's a confusing world. no wonder we're confused. because when you get right down to it, one piece of paper with writing on it is the same as another piece of paper with writing on it. and once it has writing on it, it's all used up."
2. Even if by some small chance the memos are fake, it doesn't matter. Bush must answer these serious charges.
3. We admit the documents are fake and blame Karl Rove for creating them
I guess the ink is taking longer to dry on the "Originals" then they thought.
1/2 hour after Rush Limbaugh's show is over.
Dan is hiding from Rush.
Scared dan?
Scrambling to find spare parts for the 30+ year-old machine...
They will gloss over the legitimacy of the documents insted saying that the content of the story is still true. No mea culpa.
I have seen many people here claim they have spewed some sort of beverage onto their computer when reading something funny but in this case it actually almost happened. I had just taken a big sip of coffee when I saw your post. I actually had to cover my mouth with my hand to avoid said spewing.
LOL!!!!!!!!
LOL
You know that song, "It's Five O'clock Somewhere?" Well, it's always noon somewhere. We all just assumed CBS meant noon NYC time. Silly us .....
I think they'll channel Kerry--"that's not your business--it's mine."
I also like the theory (posted on the other thread) that CBS just wants to wait until Rush Limbaugh's show is over.
You can bet the house that CBS, and the rest of the media, is monitoring this site. Now more than ever. FR has made the bigtime..
It must be sweeps week. Don't watch!
LOL good one ping
I could swear your next line would be if Dan Rather is on a ledge...
LOL! You may have hit the nail on the head.
We will have to keep this fight up for the next 6 months... but it will end with his removal...
focus on the money ... their wallets of cbs....
focus on rather ....
go after the corporations that support rather ....
the stock holders.....
god bless.......
gib (ole gezzer)
Any odds that the lamestream media will use the soundtrack from the convention yesterday when Kerry speaks tomorrow?
" I noticed that Kerry decided to talk to Imus today, which is the first time he has spoken to the media in six weeks."
We must not forget that hard hitting political interview by Jon Stewart on Comedy Central and Kerry's upcoming appearance on Letterman , Monday night.
Plus his crazy phone call, ala Martha Mitchell, to the NYT the other night.
At the rate Senator Gravitas is going-he'll be hosting SNL soon and if Kerry's pattern holds true, an MTV gig has to be on the horizon.
Then he'll pop in as a special guest in the Big Brother house and will wash up on the Survivor island.
