F-102 was basically a rocket with stubby wings. Not a joy-riding plane. But then again, to hear the armchair LIBBIES, who've been as close to the military as I have to the moon, the F-102 was akin to a Piper Cub.
I think some are getting the F 102 mixed up with the F 104. The F 102 had delta wings, the F 104 had stubby wings.
