I listened to this very interview last night. I was very suprised with Bill's sympathy for Rather...that was a shock given Rather's BLATANT, OBVIOUS complicity in this whole scam, along with his blind defense of the indefensible.
My hope is that CBS pays the price it MUST pay for their irresponsible reporting and perversion of journalism. Then we should get back to the real issues of this campaign, Kerry's historical record.
I disagree. CBS needed to generate some news to support their agenda. Reporting polls based on opinions as "facts" was not helping, as Kerry-Ketchup has lately slipped in "The Media" polls.

Will CBS be punished? Was NBC punished for installing explosive devices behind the running boards of Chevy pickups 10+/- years ago?
