And another thing....(lol).....the people who do take an oath and then lie know they are doing so with plenty of political cover. That is why it is such a friggen farce. Congress has little integrity, and with the advent of CSpan and other news media, they have no friggen clothes either. And it's NOT pretty!

My understanding is that participants in "informal hearings" are frequently not sworn, and I haven't seen hard evidence that Kerry was under oath. If anyone has such evidence, please let me know...

I don't think he did get sworn in. At least not according to the transcript.

EEEK! You don't mean, now retired D-"RED" Ron Dellums, Oakland, California -- Master of Ceremonies responsible for shutting down many CA military sites, and funds; and mentor of D-Barbara Lee, Oakland?

As far as I remember, he was sworn in.

However, in his testimony, he quotes others.

The admission came in an interview on TV outside that was not sworn. However, he is on tape.

Nixon was impeached for lying to America. Kerry should be refused as presidential material for doing such.

>The Key is Form.180!!<

Actually, Kerry's Senate testimony and his refusal to sign the 180 are separate issues.

The Senate testimony is what it is--Kerry's false witness, motivated by political ambition and only God knows what else (Communist sympathy comes to my mind), that smears, maligns, and falsely accuses an entire generation of American warriors.

The 180 goes to records regarding his service while in-country. Yes, it would be nice to see what light they would shed on the allegations raised by the Swifties. And, no, we shouldn't read anything regarding the truth about those allegations into Kerry's refusal to sign that document to authorize the release of those records (remember, the accused cannot be compelled to testify).

We can, however, make a judgment regarding Kerry's character and judgment by his continuing refusal to sign the 180.

Boy, I just don't understand how these people get past the scrutiny of any Americans. They just don't stand for the America our ancestors fought so hard to protect. :(

They got past the usual scrutiny through:

1.TAking over the schools and colleges.

2. Protest groups -- railing, screaming, making "bad press" for politicians and civic leaders.

3. Keeping the newspapers fueled with bad / hostile /angry american stories to tell.

4. The coalescing in time of abortion, Viet nam, black anger.

I know what you mean. I was in the heart of exactly where the heaviest of "culture wars" was focused upon: San Francisco Bay Area. I saw all of it with new, fresh eyes, having just arrived from another country. I saw it with a clarity. Definitely, "Tin Drum" time.

The worst of America has always been encouraged and backed by people outside of America....socialists and communists who hate capitalism and are hell bent on our destruction. And the idiots who demonstrate in the streets for peace and love are only playing the same song because of that influence. The greatest generation knew it, but they were unfortunately the parents of a bunch of fools from my generation who decided they knew better. How sad.

You are right, MistyCA. Frontpagemag has some excellent dissection this morning of who these anti-Americans are, and who is funding them, has been funding them. Take heart -- another thing so true about America? Truth will out. It always does. In some wee way, I'm relieved over the CBS scandal. I think it has shaken some people. Now, Dems are going to have to shock "the ballot box" using their usual methods, or simply work to abolish the electoral college. It's evil, and foul and anti-American, what they are doing. But the majority of Americans do not agree with this type of anti-American behavior. Take Heart!
