I don't know how Barnes and Noble stores are elsewhere but the one in Burlington Vermont is a freak show. The employees look like they should have a circus barker introducing them. Considering that Barnes & Noble pays so poorly, what do you expect? I worked for Barnes & Noble When my husband and I moved to another state to start a new business with a friend. They paid minimum wage and I was cheated out of promised health insurance.

First, nowhere is it written that minimum-wage workers must pierce or tattoo.
Second, you say you moved to start a business. B&N's employment policies should have been of no concern to you.
Third, assuming what you meant to say was that your husband was starting a business and you were working at B&N, you should have gotten the "promised health insurance" part in writing.
