Six Palestinians killed overnight By MARGOT DUDKEVITCH
Six Palestinians were killed overnight in Nablus. The majority of those killed were senior members of the Fatah Al-Aksa Martyrs' Brigades who were responsible for numerous attacks against Israelis.
In the operation that began late Tuesday night in the city Casba, soldiers of the naval commander unit surrounded the house where the six fugitives were held up. In the exchanges of gunfire that ensued the fugitives were killed.
According to security officials, Hani Aked, Majdi Mari, Mulam Abu Jamila, Nader Aswad were senior members of the Al-Aksa Brigades in the Nablus area and were responsible for dispatching the young Palestinian boys wearing explosive belts that were caught by soldiers at the Hawara checkpoint near Nablus in March this year.
In addition, the fugitives were responsible for dispatching a number of suicide bombers who launched attacks in Israel, including the attack at the Geha junction in December last year in which four Israelis were killed.
The names of the identities of the other fugitives have yet to be released.
Meanwhile security forces are preparing to blow up the building where the fugitives hid. With a successful completion of the operation, the soldiers pulled out of the city this morning.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, security forces arrested five Palestinian fugitives in villages in the Bethlehem, Jenin, and Nablus areas.
In the Gaza Strip, at least thirteen mortar shells were fired by Palestinians in Israeli communities and IDF positions. In southern Gaza at least four fell inside a community, and nine were directed at an IDF position. Shots were also fired at an IDF post near Rafah Yam in southern Gaza.

These "naval commandos" seem likely to be the Israeli small boat, combat swimmer people. Like the English Special Boat Service crossed with the SEALs, in a base of Israeli commando. Bet you they are an interesting bunch. Hard to keep up with.
