FREEP Bob Schieffer, who is supposed to moderate the 3rd debate. Clearly, CBS should not be rewarded for MemoGate. Plus it may force Schieffer to put pressure on Dan Rather to resign and/or apologize.

Third presidential debate: Arizona State University Tempe, AZ Wednesday, October 13 Bob Schieffer CBS News Chief Washington Correspondent, and Moderator, Face the Nation
Actually, this is a good negotiating point for Jim Baker. He must demand a different moderator for this debate.

Baker should demand CBS not participate. Non-negotiable. No debate with CBS.
Let CBS forego advertizer revenue, which might be paid them.
Baker should demand non television, perhaps internet based news participation.
How about Jim Robinson? FR broke the CBS fraud open. Fair enough.

I'm not so sure. Schieffer would be a fool to step over the line in his questioning of the President after the 60 minutes fiasco. If anything I think he might even bend over backwards to appear fair. Of course if we could get him replaced with say Britt Hume that would be great.
Ping & Bump
You tagline is a GREAT question!!
OOPS, YOUR tagline is a GREAT question!!
As I said on another thread, which was also recently posted, Schieffer's brother was the Rangers GM and a friend of W's!
I agree - Baker should milk this one.
Schieffer already has. Call off the attack dogs.
FOX!
Not until Dan Rather apologizes. According to LA Times, CBS is supposed to hit back at the critics again tomorrow, like they did tonight.
Great. I hope they use the worst insults possible. Unlike them, we know we are right and we know everyone else (except DU/Kos/Atrios) knows it. We know they just look like idiots when they attack us. BRING IT ON. PLEASE.
I thought there were only going to be 2 debates anyway. Have things changed?
They are negotiating. But the debate w/ Schieffer won't be cancelled. The 2nd one (with audience asking questions) will most likely be withdrawn.
