Cool it--she's 86 and probably really a sweet lady. She does not need to become a target and she does verify that the memos are fakes! So--I would just sort of back off being too quick to jump all over her--it would just make CBiaS too happy!

She spouted Dem Talking points. She's advancing the theory that charges against Bush are true, even though she has no evidence to back the claim. She may be 86, I don't care. There is no age limit, that reached, allows people the opportunity to slander our C-I-C for political gain.

If she had issued a short statement that she hadn't typed the memos and neither had Killian, that would be different. Instead she hurried right into the midst to parrot Michael Moore.

I'm not suggesting people line her driveway in retaliation, but certainly we are allow to question the motives of the individual making the unsubstantiated allegation.

Who the hell are you to tell anyone to "cool it"?

A Democrat hack is a Democrat hack. It doesn't matter how old they are.

This little ole lady is almost my favorite part of the whole dang story. She nails CBS, declares the documents are fakes, and explains how she knows it. She tells how polite Bush was to her, then poor dear, she makes it impossible for Democrats to rip her up for coming forward, by saying Bush "isn't fit for command", and was "selected not elected." She also confirms the wife and son on Killian not being able to type, because why would he when he had her to do it for him?

My husband has had a few civilian secretaries when he had command positions, and this one fits the mold to a tee. She was totally loyal to her boss, but she loved the office gossip, and to this day, remembers the names of Bush and others who had well-known Dads. (The left doesn't understand what a plus it was for a unit to have famous, well-connected members join their ranks.) But of course, they got extra consideration, no doubt, and caused people like this secretary more work.

The left will use her single negative comment to claim Bush should still answer the questions even if the documents were forged. But guaranteed, all this chatter hurts Kerry and CBS, not Bush.
