I wonder what model of typewriter she used? From Post#86. She said the typeface on the documents did not match either of the two typewriters that she used during her time at the Guard.
She identified those machines as a mechanical Olympia, which was replaced by an IBM Selectric in the early 1970s.

Then be ripped apart by us, the blogs, talk radio, some cable, probably some of the Old media still sensing blood.
I dare them to feature her as their star witness. :-D

Time for Dan Rather to take it like a man. He's been dishing it our for years...
Turnabout is fair play. It's time for Rather to admit his bias and double standards.

Let's see the 'originals' appear and we can check-- CBS experts will vouch for their authenticity. No. You can't have their names.

Be careful. She just might type some up. She's already outed herself as the one person who could do it. As Terry McAuliffe would gently explain to her, it sure would be a shame if the same thing happened to her that happened to Buddy the Dog. Let her try and do it. No new documents will hold up under proper scrutiny.

Unless the serious charge is that a Network Anchor is fabricating news.
Oh, well, of course the rules are different if conservatives are making the accusations. We're paranoid racist evil fear-mongers engaging in the politics of personal destruction.

"The memos, if real, would show that as a pilot, Mr. Bush defied a direct order to obtain a flight physical, enjoyed the benefit of pressure from high officials to sugar coat his record, and was grounded for failing to meet military performance standards."
Even if that is all 100% true - so what?
No pilot ever missed a physical?
Nobody in the NG at the time went there to avoid combat?
No soldier ever received unfairly favorable reviews?
Who cares? This whole thing is a total non-issue and will have virtually no effect on the election at all. Its just a bunch of name-calling versus the Swifties debate which is about actual collaboration with the enemy during time of war.

Interesting how everyone involved say these memos are fake. All the experts say these memos are fake.
Seems like the only two agencies that don't get that simply reality are CBS and Bill O'Reilly. According to O'Reilly he has no idea whether they're fake or not.
What is up with that clown?
To: ambrose
I wonder if this woman is one of the sources relied on by CBS. Here's how it goes:
1. Kerry operatives hear stories from the Bush-hating bluehair about comments made about Bush when he was in the National Guard. She probably makes them up or exaggerates a few comments that she heard, because it seems that Bush was well liked and did a good job.
2. They use that information as the basis to gin up some phony memos to file from Killian so they can tie it in to an ad campaign they want to run this fall.
3. They give the docs to CBS, and point CBS to the Bluehair, who can verify that these "sentiments" were expressed by the officers at the time. The Bluehair does verify the sentiments, but they don't show her the documents.
4. Now that the jig is up, they trot out the bluehair so at least they can get some mileage from her (false) claim that officers at the TANG thought Bush was receiving favoritism.

Is that draped or undraped Fawn Hall?
To: ambrose
said she is not a supporter of Mr. Bush, who she deemed unfit for office and selected, not elected. Awwww....too bad. She just blew any objective perspective she might have brought to the table with that last statement.
"So...Ms. Knox, did you...or did you not type these memos?
"No, I did not...but I think the sentime-"
"Ms. Knox, thank you - peddle your unsubstantiated opinions elsewhere...Your witness!"

I agree - see my post #180. Back then, Bush Sr hadn't even been elected Veep, much less president. There is no particular reason for Bush to have stood out as some kind of celebrity.
