To: Conservative Coulter Fan

I am not sure if this is what you are talking about but the signature is on the left as opposed to the right. I recall a guy posting that this was the style when he was in back then.

Yes, this style is called LEFT JUSTIFIED.

However, what I find interesting is that most LAWYERS use the semi-justified style - which puts the signature right of center on the document. Which, IIRC is the location of the PHONEY SIGNATURES.

Oh yeah .. I worked for lawyers for 7 years .. I know.

Yes the letters had left justified signature blocks till sometime in the 80's. Then switched to right justified.
