Maybe Soros is worried about being convicted for more than three white-collar felonies.

Some non-violent crimes such as identity theft can be devastating.

I think if someone with a previous violent offense gets convicted of any felony a third time, he should get life. Quite a number of violent offenders in Texas get their third strike on DWI offenses.
