We all knew Bradley Campbell would never let the hunt go through. Hopefully the fight's not over yet, but it's not looking good. We need to start making some noise over this!

I'm a little behind on this story, not living in NJ. Will the bear population there support a hunting season? Is there an overpopulation problem with bears?
I've encountered black bears a number of times in CA, while deer hunting. As I remember, bear season pretty much coincided with deer season back when I was hunting there.
I never did take a bear, since I had no interest in eating one, so I just let them be and continued my deer hunt.
I don't know the current bear-hunting situation in CA.
